Geoclean 2315 is the trade name for specially formulated descaling chemical to dissolve the toughest water scale, mud and rust deposits from any heat transfer equipment (shell & tube) and pipelines efficiently. Geoclean 2315 works faster and can be more economical than powdered Descaling Agent. However, do not use Geoclean 2315 on systems that contain galvanized, stainless steel or aluminum

- Biodegradable and will not harm the environment (ecofriendly)
- Easy to use and cost effective
Geoclean 2315 can be applied through various methods, depending on the equipment and scale buildup severity:
- Chemical Circulation: In closed-loop systems like condenser or heat exchanger units, Geoclean 2315 are often circulated through the equipment. This method is highly effective at removing scale, as the chemical solution continuously interacts with the deposits
- Immersion Soak: For smaller components or parts, immersion soaking in a diluted Geoclean 2315 solution can be used. This method allows the chemical to penetrate and dissolve the scale.
- Manual Brushing: In cases where scale buildup is severe or inaccessible, manual brushing with Geoclean 2315 solution may be necessary to physically remove the deposits.
Geoclean 2315 can be used at strengths between 10 and 25% and at temperatures up to 80°C, the speed of reaction being enhanced by acid strength and elevated temperature.
When the acid is approaching exhaustion the color of the solution will change from red to yellow and this indicates that more Geopure 1030 should be added.
After completion of descaling equipment should be drained and flushed thoroughly and any acid effluent neutralized.
NOTE - Geoclean 2315 should NOT be used on stainless steel, aluminum or galvanized surfaces.
Geopure 100 is formulated to be injected neat. However, if dilution is required, use deionized water or RO permeate. If neither of these is available, softened water may be substituted. The dilution for Geopure 100 should not result in a solution strength of less than 10%. This guideline will protect the effectiveness of the internal bacteriostat, which inhibits bacterial growth in the product packaging and feed tank.
