Carbamate-Based
Non-Oxidizing Biocide
Geopure® 2065 is a broad-spectrum, non-oxidizing
carbamate-based biocide designed for cooling water
treatment in industrial recirculating systems. It delivers
rapid kill rates against bacteria, algae, and fungi, while
also inhibiting slime formation and biofilm development.
The carbamate chemistry works by interfering with
microbial enzyme activity and cell metabolism, resulting
in effective microbial control even in waters with high
organic load or ammonia content. Geopure® 2065 is
compatible with most scale and corrosion inhibitors and is
ideal for alternating with oxidizing biocides to prevent
microbial resistance.

- Versatile Program Fit: Works with oxidizing and non-oxidizing biocides in rotation
- Corrosion-Friendly: Non-oxidizing, reducing stress on system metallurgy.
- Effective in Challenging Waters: Maintains performance in high organic load or ammonia-rich waters.
Purpose: Microbiological control in open recirculating cooling systems.
Initial / Shock Dose
- 150–200 mg/L (ppm) as product to the recirculating water. Hold for 4–6 hours with minimal bleed-off.
- Recommended at system start-up or when microbiological counts are high.
Routine Maintenance Dose
- 75–150 mg/L (ppm) as product every 3–5 days, depending on microbiological test results, water quality, and seasonal conditions.
Program Guidelines
- Apply as a slug dose into a turbulent area of the system.
- Alternate with oxidizing biocides to reduce microbial resistance.
- Maintain pH in the recommended range for optimum performance.
- Avoid direct mixing with strong oxidizing agents in the feed line.
Store in cool, dry, well-ventilated area, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
Ideal storage temperature: 5–30 °C.
Keep container tightly closed when not in use.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes; wear chemical-resistant gloves, goggles/face shield, and protective clothing.
Do not mix with strong oxidizers, reducing agents, or anionic surfactants.
In case of spill, contain and dilute with water; do not allow concentrated product to enter waterways.
12 months in original, unopened container under recommended storage conditions.
