Advanced Corrosion Inhibitor
for Mild Steel & Non-Ferrous Metals
Geopure® 3010 is a proprietary, high-performance corrosion
inhibitor designed for mild steel and non-ferrous metals
in cooling water systems. Formulated with modern corrosion
inhibitor technology, it provides long-lasting protection
against corrosion and pitting in highly corrosive water
conditions.
This advanced formulation effectively neutralizes
corrosive elements, ensuring extended equipment lifespan
and enhanced heat transfer efficiency. Geopure® 3010 is
ideal for HVAC systems, industrial cooling towers, and
process cooling applications, delivering consistent
performance in diverse water chemistries.
- Type:Liquid

- Solubility in water:Complete
- Specific Gravity @ 25ºC:1.05 ± 0.02
- pH @ 25ºC:< 1.0
Physical Properties:
- Highly Effective Corrosion Protection: Prevents pitting, oxidation, and metal degradation.
- Multi-Metal Compatibility: Protects mild steel, copper, brass, and other non-ferrous metals.
- Superior Performance in Corrosive Conditions: Works effectively in aggressive water chemistries.
- Prevents Scale & Deposit Formation: Keeps system surfaces clean for optimal heat transfer.
- Non-Foaming & Environmentally Responsible: Ensures smooth system operation with minimal environmental impact.
- Reduces Maintenance & Downtime: Extends equipment life and reduces operational costs.
To passivate the system against corrosion initially, the cooling tower should be dosed at rate of 50 – 100 ppm of Geopure 3010 for a period of approx. 3-5 days. Appropriate use of dosage of Geopure 3010 following the above dosing strategy should result in a corrosion rate of less than 3 mpy.
| Proper human safety products such as Splash goggles, lab coat, vapour respirator, gloves and boots should be worn while handling and applying chemicals. Splashes on skin should be washed off with water immediately. In case of splashing into the eyes, flush it with fresh water and obtain medical attention. Should not be injected.
