GEOPURE 400 is formulated to eliminate scale and reduce
fouling in membrane systems. Geopure 400 is a liquid
antiscalant/dispersant blended to inhibit scale and
disperse colloidal particles in RO membrane separation
systems.Geopure 400 effectively works under condition of
water (less than 1,500 ppm hardness level, Silica up to
200 ppm and TDS up to 5,000 ppm). Geopure 400 active with
moderate amounts of silica, manganese and iron.

Chemical Properties:
Dosage:
A typical Geopure 100 dose ranges from 2-10 mg/l.
Injecting:
Best results are achieved when Geopure 100 is
injected upstream of the membrane system and, where
possible, of cartridge filters.

Geopure 400 is formulated to be injected neat. However, if dilution is required, use deionized water or RO permeate. If neither of these is available, softened water may be substituted. The dilution for Geopure 400 should not result in a solution strength of less than 10%. This guideline will protect the effectiveness of the internal bacteriostat, which inhibits bacterial growth in the product packaging and feed tank.
