Geopure® 7500 is a broad-spectrum, non-oxidizing biocide formulated with 5% CMIT/MIT (5-Chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one / 2-Methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one), designed for effective microbial control in cooling towers and industrial recirculating water systems.
This powerful isothiazolinone blend attacks microbial cell membranes and inhibits essential enzyme systems, providing rapid kill of bacteria, algae, and fungi, while also preventing slime and biofilm formation on heat transfer surfaces. Geopure® 7500 is effective over a broad pH range and can be alternated with oxidizing biocides to enhance system hygiene and minimize microbial resistance.

    Physical Properties:

  • Type:Liquid
  • Appearance:Clear to Transparent Yellow
  • Odour:Characteristic
  • Solubility in water:Complete
  • Specific Gravity @ 25ºC:1.02 ± 0.05
  • High-Efficiency Control: Rapid and broad-spectrum action against bacteria, algae, and fungi
  • Slime & Biofilm Prevention: Inhibits growth and buildup on wetted surfaces
  • Wide pH Tolerance: Effective between pH 6.0–9.0
  • Compatible with Most Treatment Programs: Works in rotation with oxidizing biocides
  • Corrosion-Friendly: Non-oxidizing chemistry safe for most cooling system metallurgy
  • Effective in Low Doses: High activity even at low application concentrations
  • Fast Kill, Short Contact Time: Minimizes downtime during cleaning cycles

Geopure 7500 is to be dosed at 50 – 100 mg/L (for a clean system) and should be circulated in the system for 4 hours.

Proper human safety products such as Splash goggles, lab coat, vapor respirator, gloves and boots should be worn while handling and applying chemicals. Splashes on skin should be washed off with water immediately. In case of splashing into the eyes, flush it with fresh water and obtain medical attention. Should not be injected.
